sessons/ tracks

Track 1. Emerging Infections and Inflammatory Diseases

Infection are nothing but the primary response of body to any invading foreign agent .Emerging infectious diseases are infections that have recently noticed within a large population or those whose geographic range is rapidly increasing or suspected to increase in the near future. Emerging infections can be caused by: Previously undetected or unknown infectious agents like bacteria, virus, protozoa and other agents.

Track 2. Animal Modeling and VeterinaryInfectious Inflammations

Model organisms are used for better understanding the disease process without the added risk of harming an actual human. The species chosen must be resembles with human physiology so that the animal meet a determined reaction to the disease and its treatment taxonomic should be applicable for actual human beings. Veterinary infectious inflammations are nothing but the inflammations which occurs with a particular animal species either domestic or wild.

Track 3 .Pathogenesis ,Virulence & Counter measures

The pathogenesis is the phenomenon which describe the origin and development of a disease, whether it is acute, chronic, or recurrent. The word comes from the Greek pathos "disease” and genesis "creation”. While virulence means the ability of an agent of infection to produce disease. A countermeasure is a measure or action taken to counter the infectious agents.

Track 4. Multi Pathogen Infections

In parasitology, multi pathogen infections are the simultaneous infection of a host by multiple pathogen species. It includes simultaneous infection of a single cell by two or more virus particles. For example the infection of liver cells with Hepatitis B virus and Hepatitis D virus, which can arise incrementally by initial infection followed by super infection.

Track 5. Immune-mediated Inflammatory Diseases

An immune-mediated inflammatory disease (IMID) is any of a group of diseases   which are initiated through common inflammatory pathways leading to inflammation, and which may be triggered by a small disorder and deregulation of the normal immune response.  IMIDs can cause damage of the specific organ with which it associate and also causes increased morbidity and mortality.

Track 6. Sexually Transmitted Diseases andInfections

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are set of diseases caused by infections that are passed from one person to another during sexual contact. These infections often do not show any symptoms. Medically, infections are only called diseases when they show any type of symptoms. That is why STDs are also called "sexually transmitted infections."

Track 7. Pediatric Inflammatory Diseases

Pediatric inflammatory diseases are those infections which generally appears in small children’s .these are described as the  autoimmune diseases  but developed  in genetics of monogenic level i.e. “inflammation against self” also viewed as an immunologic disease continuum (IDC)which causes by  genetic disorders of either adaptive or innate immunity.

Track 8. Auto Inflammatory Diseases

The term 'auto inflammatory' has been described as the distinct pathogenesis of a group of disorders   which  characterized by unexplained self-attacks or inflammation without any evidence that this process  is related to auto-antigen exposure.in simple word a district disorder of body against its own cells.

Track 9. Cancer, Oncology and Tumor

Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth, inflammations having the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Tumors area nothing but inflammations in body .All tumors are not cancerous; benign tumors are not cancerous and do not spread to other parts of the body while malignant tumors are spread all over the body and later on causes cancer .oncology is the science which deals with different kind of cancer.

Track 10. Bioterrorism-Related Disease

Bioterrorism is a simple form of terrorism where biological agents (bacteria, viruses, or other germs) are used as bioweapons. This is also known as germ warfare. Many biological agents are found in nature are modified in their genetic level by the terrorist to make them more dangerous. Most of these agents are transmitted from person to person, and the infection rapidly spared in a large population in a small period of time.

Track 11. Zoonosis (Disease Transmitted from Animals to Humans)

Zoonosis, from Greek: ‘zoon "animal" and ‘nosos "sickness") are a group of infectious diseases of animals (usually vertebrates) that can be transmitted to humans naturally. Several emerging modern fatal diseases such as Ebola virus disease, salmonellosis and influenza are zoonosis. It can be caused by different kind of pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. It has different modes of transmission. Either the disease is directly transmitted from animals to humans or transmitted through media such as air (influenza) or through bites and saliva (rabies). When humans infect animals, it is called reverse zoonosis or anthroponosi

Track 12. Immune Defense against Inflammatory Pathogens: Innate and Adaptive Immunity

The healthy animal defends itself against pathogens at different stages of infection. The host defense mechanisms are mediated by the immune system. The innate or nonspecific immune system and the adaptive, acquired or specific immune system are the two major subdivision of immune system. The innate immune system is a primary defense mechanism against invading organisms, while the adaptive immune system acts as a second line of defense.

Track 13. Clinical Aspects of Infections and Inflammation

Clinically inflammation is the primary response of an animal  towards an invading foreign agent  which recognized by five cardinal signs –heat (calor),redness(rubor),pain(dolour),swelling(tumor) and loss of functions. This may be caused by any internal /external infections and tissue injury and destructions.

Track 14. Diagnosis and Imaging ofInfectious and Inflammatory Disease

In the current era we are that much advance that we understand about microorganism. Antimicrobial therapy also well-known and increasingly available but still infection is a major cause of patient morbidity and mortality Hence proper diagnosis and imaging of inflammatory diseases are necessary. Diagnostic Imaging of Infections and Inflammatory Diseases: An advanced approach which deals with the very latest developments in the use of radiologic techniques which used to detect the real cause of infection and infectious diseases.

Track 15. Immunization to InfectiousDiseases, Vaccines and Vaccinations

Vaccination is the approach in which of agent-specific, but relatively harmless, antigenic Components are injected in the host body so that the vaccinated individuals can be protective immunity against the Corresponding infectious agent. Literally the terms “vaccination” and “immunization “Are often used interchangeably.

Track 16. Anti- inflammatory Herbal products and Drugs

Anti-inflammatory described as the property of a substance or treatment that  reduces inflammation or swelling. Anti-inflammatory drugs make up in such a manner which              remedies pain by reducing inflammation, which directly affect the central nervous system to block pain signaling to the brain. Plant- and animal-derived natural aurvedic                herbal products have been used since hundreds and even thousands of years to obtain effective pain relief. Herbal medications are popular because they relief pain and             also minimize the chance of side effects.

Track 17. Prevention and Control ofInfectious Diseases

Infection control is the discipline approach which deals with preventing steps or healthcare concerns associated with infection.  It consists of several steps taken for disease prevention and disease treatment. Just as physical, mental and biological health concerns, which are associated with environmental factors, genetic predisposition, disease agents, and lifestyle choices. So that individuals realize the basic health concerns and protect themself from diseases before they affected.

Track 18. Infection Control Assessment and Response Program (ICAR)

The ICAR is a CDC-funded program focused on supporting state-driven efforts to assess and improve infection prevention practices and guide quality improvement activities. The assessments are completely voluntary and non-punitive.

Market analysis

Importance and scope

In the current era, starting from common infections like allergy, common cold to most of the fatal diseases like cancer, Ebola, influenza is caused by bacterial, viral infections.  so by studying and discussing the unsolved mechanism  involved in the pathogenesis of the emerging infectious and inflammatory diseases and to provide important insights into their therapies. We should reduce the gap between clinical and basic sciences.

Infectious and Inflammatory  Diseases also aims to improve the exchange of  knowledge    between researchers from Eastern and Western countries, so the pathogenesis of the fatal diseases should be known by everyone and it should be cured .the behind reason of this international conference is  observational studies, and cost-effectiveness analyses of infectious and inflammatory diseases .

Market Research

Currently a great understanding on inflammatory diseases on drug market has eradicate the difficulty in the drug development for   several major diseases which   are affecting millions of people in the world. Inflammation Is  the basis phenomenon which described as the primary response of the body towards invading pathogens and that eliminates as the cause of injury. Periodically, one individual’s body’s immune system works inappropriately that leads to inflammation. Drug development in inflammatory diseases has focused on treating symptoms and pathogenesis of each disease separately. The discovery of  several drugs to treat infectious

and inflammatory diseases related with immune system is leading the market towards growth.as now many of the fatal diseases are related to infectious and inflammatory diseases  so  morbidity and mortality due to these diseases leads  to increasing opportunity to develop new treatments to conquer the inflammatory diseases and increase market share. As inflammatory diseases are most common in human beings so increasing popularity of inflammatory diseases and its growing demand for treatment by anti-inflammatory drugs with lesser side effects is driving the global inflammatory diseases market.

On the basis of type of disease global inflammatory diseases market is more emphasized on respiratory diseases, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, Psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, bone disease and others. Further in Respiratory diseases asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease has created competitive market in drug development. Instead   of that arthritis indications in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis also have a growing demand in drug field.

According to drug class used in treatment of inflammatory diseases global inflammatory diseases market is divided into non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-inflammatory biologics and corticosteroids. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs interrupted the production of hormones in the body such as prostaglandins that is responsible for inflammation. Anti-inflammatory biologics are mostly used in treatment of arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis   and respiratory diseases like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Further in distribution channel global inflammatory disease market is divided into hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, drug stores and online pharmacy.

Geographically, global inflammatory market is divided into five key regions: North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East Africa. North America is more popular in inflammatory diseases market as there is a growing demand for branded medicines over the generic medicines.  After North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America has shown increasing market share in inflammatory diseases.
