Clinical Aspects of Infections and Inflammation

Clinically inflammation is the primary response of an animal  towards an invading foreign agent  which recognized by five cardinal signs –heat (calor),redness(rubor),pain(dolour),swelling(tumor) and loss of functions. This may be caused by any internal /external infections and tissue injury and destructions.

  • Acute and chronic inflammations
  • Systematic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)
  • Cell and biochemical mediators of inflammation
  • Wound healing mechanism
  • Pharmacotherapy for inflammation
  • Mathematical modeling for inflammations
  • Network analysis of inflammations
